Our friendly and informal wine focused tours can be from a single day excursion to a full week program. We pride ourselves on visiting small local wineries to learn more about their traditional methods and to get a sense of their own family wine making traditions. Depending on the season, we can include some unique experiences such as grape stomping during the harvest festival, making your own blend and have it bottled to take home, wine tours by helicopter or boat, underwater wine tasting, private pairing dinners and events and so much more. The concept of farm to table in the US has been passed around more than Mom’s homemade stuffing on Thanksgiving Day. But in Europe, it’s a phrase virtually unheard of by those that live here. Here are just a few of the unique experiences you can expect on one of our Farm to Table Tours: Lodging in charming, locally run Agriturismos with homemade dinners made from resources on the property served family style, market visits with hands on cooking classes in the home of your personal chef, visit an artisanal cheese maker for a class and tasting, truffle hunting with a local farmer or an afternoon tasting at an extra virgin olive oil producer.
